Announcement of LPC-2.MC8 controller

MC8 is a new LPC-2 controller, which is replacing previous MC7 version.
First pieces will be available in August 2010

We are in the final stage of the new PLC controller development for LPC-2 product family. MC8 is modular, open programmable PLC which inherits all features from its predecessor MC7. Details about LPC-2 family products can be found in our catalog.
MC8 brings a bunch of new features for the same price:
* new PLC editing environment - Beremiz

supports all PLC languages defined in IEC 61131-3 standard
fully conforms to IEC 61131-3 specifications
Beremiz is Free Software, with GPL v2 or later licensing, and freely available at no charge
supports proprietary code

* PLC runtime free of charge (LGPL)
* USB connection for application and firmware upload
* debugging feature over USB (watch, force variables)
* Ethernet connectivity
* two CANopen channels
